About Everett
Everett is a University of Florida Biomedical Engineering graduate with an interest in machine learning and medical devices. He has a wide range of interests including retro electronics, woodworking, urban design, gaming, and yapping. Everett has privately tutored in the past for many years and was a Teaching Assistant in the Biomedical Engineering for department for two years. During his tenure as a Teaching Assistant, he taught Biomedical Instrumentation, a MATLAB programming class, Quantitative Physiology, and a Junior-level Biomedical Engineering design course. His belief is that the most important part of learning is to understand the fundamentals. While shortcuts can be useful in the short term, they are not foolproof and will eventually fail, which is why he believes in teaching using a bottom-up approach.
